veg is 16 on-8 off hrs flower is 12 -12 Your lights will do good for veg. Put them on timer so you do not forget to turn them on or off.
What type of seeds? Photoperiod plants will do well with an 18 hour light, 8 hour dark period for veg and then change to 12 & 12 for flowering. If they are from automatic flowering seeds it doesn’t matter. They flower when they’re ready. I wouldn’t go less than 12 if they’re autos. Look in this forum and just google how to grow marijuana. There are tons of great articles and what helped me a lot were the great videos out there. Good luck and keep learning. Almost forgot, welcome.
