I’m playing around with the likes of buying an indoor light and saw this on sale on Amazon. One of those lightening rounds or whatever.

Thanks, OlyBoy … @sssportsmfg is using the two Durolux lights below and is happy with them, so I am rethinking the Viparspectra brand and considering these instead …

If your spending $80… maybe a Mars or an HLG 100 maybe… be nice to save some coin - hold out and get a double quantum board pre built 300. You don’t wañna diy right.

As much as I like these lights and as good as the price is, and even though I have had zero problems with them, I do have to say this…These lights are HIGH blue spectrum, which is GREAT for Veg, and seedlings and clones. However keep in mind that you would need to add some additional red like I did for flowering. Now Durolux makes another one that has a lot more red it in and I have two of those also, last grow I didn’t get the chance to complete because I got sick and couldn’t care for them, so I just shut the grow down. I used the one you listed for two grows now in the veg cycle, and tomorrow I flip to flower, BUT I just added two far red LED strips with heat sinks to complete the grow through flowering. keep that in mind if you can only buy one fixture for the whole grow. I truly believe these would do the start to finish for you but have never done that so I don’t want to steer you wrong. When I first got these, i got them for bottom and side lighting and was running a Spider Farmer SF-4000, and two of these hanging vertical. They did increase the bud size on the lower parts of the plants, but in my opinion not enough to offset the electric bill for the return. Then I decided to try them for the main lighting and they worked great, as you can see if you follow my grow. I just got a bigger tent so went from two to three of them and they are doing fantastic in my opinion. They have a great light spectrum, but too much blue to optimize flowering. That’s why I added the far red supplimental lighting.
Now the little two footer for starting seeds and clones absolutely. Perfect spectrum for short fat girls.

If I do that, it will be sammy8th … I’ve had 9 cats named Sam since I was 5 years old. Sam the 8th was the most special of all. Sam the 9th had to be put down in February. I’m actually considering changing my cat’s name (Cujo) to Sam the 10th, but not sure he deserves the name. He is very evil.
My kids have known forever that I was pro-weed. I even told them I’d rather they use weed than drink alcohol. My daughter took the love of weed pretty far when she advanced into dabbing and torches. Ack! I’ve only done one knife hit in my life. I’m a pretty mild weed user. It’s okay, she straightened up, got her Master’s and is now in her 2nd year of teaching 3rd grade at age 24. Whew! My son is 27 and has never smoked anything in his life, but he likes edibles.
I’m inappropriate, too. Btw, I lost a spelling bee in elementary school due to the word ‘inappropriate’ … left out the second ‘r’ I think … my kids aren’t like me, too. I think they see me struggle and never want to be where I’m at now (job hunting at 60 - thanks, Covid).

What’s an example of this? I won’t have money for some time and shouldn’t even be spending it now. Any money I have or make soon will go towards buying a home. It’s all I care about. Even if it’s a shack which is very well may be the way real estate prices are up here in the PNW. A fixer upper 2 bed/1 bath up here is selling close to 300k, including mold issues, etc. … really sucks …
Right, I don’t want to diy. I diy a lot, but not with plumbing or electronics. Except dryers, I can fix a dryer. And I’ve replaced a electric switch for my garbage disposal. Scared the CRAP out of me. And I have to do it again.
Anyway, thanks, for the MARS link. I have it in my cart and am hoping to see some kind of lightning deal on Amazon for it or something like it … same with the two Durolux lights. I’m kinda afraid of going down the rabbit hole with inside grow materials. LOL
I will grow indoors when I own my home. Indoors and outdoors. The world is my oyster.

I have done a bit of study and I think part of it is using these very concentrated extracts sugars/ rosin/ crystal? for the edibles, especially combined with food sugers like gummies means fast absorption. I find if I haven’t eaten I will get effects coming on earlier, then I get mega munchies though usually 
Also, the strains/ cultivars are being developed for specific cannabinoid/ terpenoid qualities which may be absorbed easier?
The dissolving in the mouth means that the cannibinoids/ terpenoids cross the blood/ brain barrier ( like smoking/ vaping) quicker than through the digestive tract AFAIK.

ah yes, its just coconut oil- i just call it butter cos I use it similar to dairy butter.
i prefer cannabis in coconut oil to dairy though.
