Ack! Scared of failure, but here goes my first journal - old subject line LOL

See if you have a harbor freight tools nearby. They might have a cheap one. You can also look at all the home stores Home Depot Lowes Ace Hardware. Etc. if you’re going to use a jar I wouldn’t throw a couple of buds in there I would fill it. When you’re curing your curing a full jar or relatively full. Test it the way you cure it. :+1:t3:

LOL … you’ve seen my tiny humble abode and crappy car. But then again, Warren Buffet still drives a beater, owns the same house since 1958 and eats at McDonalds, so … I guess it was possible. Wish it were true. It’s almost time to get a job … sigh … sure hate to end all this fun.

Lol nice i run a 2001 toyota echo. 5 speed manual. It gets 43 mph. Cost me $800 and i put in shocks, struts, control arms, sway links, brakes rotors pads, shoes and drums for $300 and tires for $179. Its a awesome beater with a heater. I also have a 2001 tacoma a 2005 Toyota Corolla and a 2007 honda accord. The older the better! The cheaper the parts. I rebuild everything!

This is my rebuild of my small wood chipper.

I got both you and @PreyBird1 beat on the beaters! LOL I have two old cars. A 1997 Ford Escort Wagon with less than 150k miles on it that I bought new when I was preggers with my 24 year old daughter and a 1997 Honda Civic that has less than 80k miles on it that one of my best friends gave me when the Ford kept breaking down. Both still run, the Ford needs work, as usual. I should just sell it. Both are 5 speed manuals. I don’t drive automatics.

My locked beater Honda actually got STOLEN from right in front of my house on May 11. He stole it about 4a and the cops had him pulled over before 4:30a and we had our car back by 5:30a. My son had just installed a car cam for me the day before so we got to watch his joy ride.

When the cops came knocking on our bedroom window (we didn’t hear the front door and he saw the tv on in the bedroom - my boyfriend watches the money channel 24/7 - the stock market is always open somewhere, right?), I had ten plants on my kitchen table and didn’t have my legal MMJ card for growing yet, so THAT was fun. After talking to the popo thru the bedroom window, we stepped outside to talk and then he took us to our car.

The back seat of a cop car is TINY, DARK and SCARY. I could totally see how claustrophobia could come into play when put in there.

MAN! nothing is sacred! i kept full coverage on my car until last year when they declined me ( the deductible was more than the car ) i left the keys in the ignition all the time. NOBODY would steal my flintstone mobile. my hubs said it was because it was full of work stuff. my grandson thats 5 refused to ride in it. he told me if i save my money i really can buy a new car. its easy!   my other grandson is buying me a buggati ? when he is in the NFL

I kept full coverage til last year! Why Why Why? And then the car got stolen. Ha! But, really? What would they pay? Crazy. Now I still have all the coverages but MUCH less than full. And high deductibles. I used to keep my key in the ignition of my Ford because I had a stalker ex boyfriend and I needed to be able to get away FAST. No fumbling with the keys like in the movies LOL but I can’t keep the key in the Honda or it beeps non stop and probably runs down the battery.

That’s hilarious about your 5 year old grandson! Wish I had a grandson with a promising NFL career! Hope it comes to fruition for you!! Now I have to go look up buggati …
