Any lighting experts out there?

Hello

Really looking for a lighting expert to answer this question for me as I have received a wide range of responses in discussions including from PhD people and they all vary widely…

I’m wanting to know what is the minimum micromoles required at canopy level for supplementary lighting to effectively prevent flowering.

Please do not answer this without real science or experimental data that can be referenced.

thanks so much!

Keep an eye out for the research done by Bruce Bugbee and apogee instruments. They’re working to release a new sensor and research that will be able to interpret the small amounts of light (a few micromoles) that could affect flowering.

thank you!

Check this out from Utah state university. Maybe able to answer your question. Any of Bugbee videos are great information.
