This is exciting news (we think!).
Kristen Joseph, QC Director at Apeks Supercritical, is on the ASTM D37 committee (ASTM stands for American Society for Testing Materials, and is a world-renowned group that is responsible for setting accepted standards of everything from manufacturing, to textiles, to toys, and now cannabis).
The D37 committee is working diligently to establish standards across the cannabis industry. Together with other subject matter experts, Kristen will help develop nationally accepted standards for cultivation, extraction, processing, packaging, and more! The industry is growing rapidly, and standards will help regulate the production of cannabis products, ensuring safe end products for everyone.
