Insulation is in the walls. Fucking dirty job, spray in insulation. I don’t think I’ll be breathing too well tomorrow. Added some more soil to my little Cherry OG. I think I’m going to bed for the day. Later gators
Sunlight is expensive. I berated @PreyBird1 with questions about lights. I took some advice. Today I completed the last expensive ass purchase for my growing lab.
1 Grower’s Choice ROI E 200 for my veg room
1 Grower’s Choice ROI E 680s for my flower room
@nacho151 is always first to show love. That bill hurt too.
Just enjoy following your build and your grow! I just bought a light today to upgrade one of my tents. I’ve been checking out all my equipment’s amperage draws and decided to try out a Ionboard S33 to see if it will meet my needs!
I appreciate the feedback and interest. Everyone’s interest gets me motivated some days, other days it’s just because I hate my backyard is a mess.
Home run stretch at this point, refinish the walls inside and then paint and trim.
Well isnt that fancy! Thats an awesome light! Did you get the controller also?
I went with the luxx xr860 pro and controller from growershouse. Got the controller pretty cheap due to a sale.
I’m going to ask this publicly so anyone else who reads it won’t have to worry about asking someone this question.
Why would I want a $300 controller? If I only have 1 or maybe 2 lights, what does the controller do for me? What is the main function of a controller? Is there more to it than just having fancy settings?
Something tells me others will want to know this when they look at better quality lights.
That’s a great question! You dont need a controller and your absolutely correct there. Well over the years i gotten a better understanding of the fancy settings and light recipies enough to utilize them more and dial in my grow more precisely. So i wasnt going to buy the controller but with only 3 power settings it was kinda basic. Well the controller gave a lot more control like 100% power output control dawn and dusk settings. Temp cutoff auto dim or shut down. Humidity control on off and shut down. So for me it gave me a shitload of adjustments. And i would not have to raise and lower the lights as much because i can control the light better. And with a sale the controller cost me $60. Then couple that with the infinity T6 fan and man this new set up is dialed in perfectly. So i canmprogram my light and fan system together. I like it a lot now but it not cheap your right!
That’s pretty bad ass actually, a couple more features than I knew of ( fan control and humidity shut-off we’re surprises). I’m a pretty basic grower ATM, I’ll have more than enough power and light for my veg room, and my bloom room may be great too. I’ll keep my eyes out for a sale on the Grower’s Choice controller. I won’t buy myself a Switch Pro controller so it will have to be a big sale.
Yep i got controllers on my other Foshe light. But it was like 1/2 price sale. This time same thing sale made it worth it. Dimmers are awesome either way! So i have 2 fancy lights. And 2 home built light not so fancy. But they rock.
Ouch!
Wow, I guess if you have 200 fixtures…what’s another $400 for a controller!
Point made
Go get yourself some cheese and crackers.
Dang Skinny,
Get plenty of rest and get yourself WELL! That SUCKS!
Well I was born in Az. Only lived there for three months left for Japan @ three months old lol…don’t remember nuttin! Would love to go there for a visit and may just ride my motorcycle out there if I ever stop growing. Kinda hard to go anywhere when your growing a crop.
Great looking plants, nice setup with the greenhouse. I think that would get blown over the first week here in MO.
If ya don’t mind my askin what is MSU? Probably go DUH when you tell me lol.
Marty
That greenhouse is dope! I’m gunna have to get one. Great size. Sorry no advice just like the greenhouse haha
You could have mine in two weeks if you are local to Phoenix?
$165 and it comes with sunlight for free
I appreciate the offer but I’m in Cali.
