Auto watering setup question

I’m setting up an auto watering system for my 4×4 tent to water three plants. What am I doing incorrectly that is causing the the water to just dribble from the nozzle?
The link below shows the measley pressure.

The pump is on max volume. There is 7ft of 3/4" vinyl tubing going from the pump to the inside of the tent and is terminated there.

I have a 3’ length of 1/4" landscape irrigation tubing going from the 3/4" tube to the plant. An individual 1/4" tube for each plant.
There is an adjustable 360 degree nozzle on the end of the 1/4" tube and it is wide open.

This is the pump:

Take the nozzles off. that pump only pushes 7 feet of head pressure. It won’t push through those nozzles. It needs to be wide open. Use your timer to adjust water volume
.
FYI, you need 138 feet of head pressure to produce 60 pounds of water pressure. Most residential water pressure is around 60 pounds. The pump you have there only has 7 feet of head pressure. :v:t3:

Ah, ok. Thanks!
Since this is the first time using aut watering system, for how many seconds, and how many times per day, should I set it to come on? I can get to single-minute duration on my digital timer.

I have the timer set to come on for one minute every three hours from 6am to 11:59pm every day.

I removed those particular nozzles, turned the pump volume to its lowest setting, but the total volume from the three hoses was almost 3 cups per minute; too much in my opinion.
I attached the pictured nozzle and adjusted them to spray a total of 1.25 cups per minute for all three.

I will check the plants this evening. Does that sound like a proper feeding schedule and quantity?

Well, that didn’t work. I thought I understood the instructions for the timer, but I screwed up somehow and all 5 gallons of the water+ nutrients were pumped into the three plants sometime within the last 3.5 hours. So I guess those plants will die. The lights are off now for the next 12 hrs. This sucks.

They won’t die from one overwatering. Just let them dry out. I would put my two cents in on the right pump and nozzles etc., except I have never done a system like that.

You are overthinking it. You only need the water to go into one spot in the pot (base of mainstem). It will wick into the rest. Run one hose to each plant. You can buy little watering rings that go on the end of those quarter inch hoses that spike into the ground around your stem. They run wide open. You put one hose to each plant. Without seeing how big your plants are.(this is why I keep saying that you need to post everything on a journal instead of all these random questions everywhere. This way, the people helping you can look back and see pictures of where you’re at instead of you having to download shit constantly. OK, rant over with. OK, so not knowing the size of your plants I couldn’t even begin to tell you how long to set your timer. Feed your plants once a day (you might need to water twice a day if your plants are big, and your pots are small during flower). If your plants are small, you need to use timers that you can set per second. FYI, go on YouTube and look up how to set up your timers. Easier to watch someone show you how to do it then read it on a piece of paper with writing so small mouse couldn’t read it. Go to my journal. Look through it at the pictures and look at all the different watering systems. I’ve done over the years. That will give you some ideas…

Great post Hap.

I will add one thing. Get ya a bag of Safeponins Camellia Oleifera extract, from Amazon. It is a wetting agent, $9.99 for a lb. 1/2 tsp. per gallon, will last you forever, water with it by hand a couple of times and it will make your entire pot evenly moist. I used it for the first time on this grow with the autopots, and it is a game changer, even the top of the pot is evenly moist, not soaking wet, just nice and moist all the time.

I was thinking of this. Measure how much water you normally give the plant each day or days. Take your water system. Now were gonna measure it.
So get the system and turn it on and time it while your running system. Then measure the water that came out that you just timed. Is is close to what you normally give the plant? Then All you have to do is set the system time to how much water you need. Then you can mess with how many times it gets water a day. Or only once a day like hand watering and the same amount you give the plant in a day or days. Its pretty simple to figure out really.

I’m not the sharpest pencil in the box. Maybe I should stick to manually watering the plants. I don’t usually griw more than three ar a time anyway!
These are sone leaves cut today from that sane Acapulco Gold photo/fem in soil. I took some from all over the plant. I increased the amounts of Jack’s parts A and B five days ago because it looked like magnesium deficiency.
I ran the analysis, with photos, through Chatgpt and Grok, and both said magnesium deficiency was most likely the cause and it gave specific teaspoon suggested amounts for Parts A; B, and Epsom salts. Maybe it takes the plants a couple of weeks to get back to deep green.
The other two Acapulco Golds in the tent are a nice, deep green. They are getting the same nutrients.
And I’ve never grown this strain; so maybe this is somewhat normal for it.

Increasing Parts A and B seems to have fixed the yellowing problem.
Does rotating the plants in the tent at each watering make a positive difference to the plant regarding light coverage and penetration? Or is it a waste of time or harmful?
This Acapulco Gold seens easier to grow. It’s an old strain, right,
