I seem to keep having this same issue regardless of the species of plant. Yellow spots fading into the leaf, and then tips rotting.

You know, that really looks to me like they’re waterlogged…
I know you are growing in coco and it should be well drained but chances are that strawberry is not USING near as much water as it has…
Also if the soil temperature is on the cool side it will amplify the waterlogging effect.
Commercial strawberries are a huge crop in Cali and they are always grown in sandy soil raised beds which tend to drain and warm early in the season…

Thanks, that could be it. I’m always worried about letting it dry out with salt problems, but I will take your advice and cut back.
