Colorado Sales Statistics February 2018

Sales at Colorado’s adult-use and medical dispensaries were $113.9 million in February, a 4.6 percent increase from the previous year. Adult-use retailers enjoyed a sales increase of 12 percent from February 2017 while sales at medical dispensaries declined 14 percent.

In February, flower contributed 45 percent of all revenues with $52 million in sales. Flower sales declined 10 percent from the previous February. Pre-rolled joints, which are tracked separately from flower, generated $6.8 million in sales for February, a 20 percent increase from the previous year.

Concentrate sales in February grew 26 percent from the previous year. With $35 million in sales coming from concentrates, the category contributed 31 percent of revenues for the month. Vape sales were $14.2 million in February, $5.6 million more than in February 2017, resulting in a 66 percent increase.
Sales of edibles were $17 million in February, an 11 percent increase from the previous year. Candy, the largest sub-category within edibles, contributed 49 percent of revenues for the edibles category. Candy sales grew 19 percent from February 2017.
