A couple of community updates and announcements:
Beta launch: We’ve official finished our beta period as of March 1st. A big thank you to everyone who helped us get the community off the ground. Everyone who joined during the beta period received the Founding Member badge to show off their participation. We’re now opening up the community to every cannabis professional who’d like to join, so feel free to invite your friends and colleagues to sign up here: http://growersnetwork.org/
Category view: We have enough content and topics to switch over to the category view as the default view. This makes it easier to navigate the community and find discussions of interest to you. You can still go to the Latest tab to see all recent discussions if you prefer that format.
New categories: We’re adding a couple new categories to better organize the content. The first one is a Business and Marketing category to discuss running and promoting your dispensary and/or grow operation. The other category is the Vendor Corner where we’ll be setting up sub-categories for verified vendors. These sub-categories will be a place for them to post news and announcements about their products and services as well as for you to ask them questions directly. The first sub-category we’re creating is for Twister by Keirton. Stay tuned for future sub-categories under the Vendor Corner category.
Canopy Size profile field: we’ve added a field for canopy size on your profile, so you can indicate the size of your grow operation. To fill that in, click on your avatar in the upper right corner, then click on the gear icon to go to your Preferences, and look for the Canopy Size field drop-down.
