The Cannabis industry hasnā€™t even investigated traditional ā€œbig ag approachesā€ like marker assisted breeding based off of QTL mapping and SNP associations. Whatā€™s the rush to Crispr? Especially given that Crispr is shown to cause errors elsewhere, at least under certain conditionsā€¦

Yes. This will be useful for curing genetic conditions! I have a daughter with Angelman Syndrome. We actually have 5 different gene-editing modalities in the works. We expect human clinical trials in all of them over the next 16-34 months. One of these strategies is utilizing CRSPR. We are on the brink of a medical revolution with genetics! Www.cureangelman.org
