@hoppiefrog I’m guessing I got 3 weeks at least. One girl looks to be farther along than the rest. And My Brother I will take any advise you offer! It is greatly appreciated!

I have noticed in the past many of my longer flowering plants stopped producing new calyxes and thought that that was due to genetics, after much research and some help from some pros I have discovered the cause. Some plants have a higher demand for phosphorus in mid to late flower. phosphorus is what will create new calyxes and hairs and trichomes and help enlarge trichome heads. Easiest to see if a plant is running low will be all hairs turn and no new white ones are being produced, also if new calyxes are showing lower levels of trichome production or heads on new growth are smaller. I hope this info helps you as much as it did for me.

I should add even for a late harvest a plant should have some white hairs being produced. You have a small window to add some phosphorus but only one more application I’d say unless u have 4 weeks or more.better lean on the safe side imo (just one)

That is a good tip indeed Hopster! I’m gonna search this one up a little more. I have 2 out of 5 that are bursting with new pistils at 10 weeks. I’m chopping down one of them this weekend. Well I’m hacking 3 down Sunday… my chocolate skunk and 1 BG I’m giving another week too. The BG going a full 10 weeks will be an interesting comparison to the other 3 taken at 8 and 9 weeks. I’ll have the full spectrum of ripe trichs to see the difference…
