It’s crazy how much better everything looks after just getting the water straight. If I’d have known they were going to get so big I wouldn’t have grown 6.

Yea ! that’s a bit tricky changing nutrient line in grow - what werer you using ? My self use Humbolt County’s Own line now but have many others
I was using Technaflora, and changed to Jack’s. Purely because of cost. The Technaflora was amazing, but not for 300+ a grow.

U can basically do autos like photos kust not as deep into it loke u would a photo. Topping to me didnt seem to maje any differences at all. About same amount of weed off both plant topped one was like 5 or 6 inches shorter but both gave me a bit over 3 to 3.5 oz each. I do defols at 21 and 42 days flower time. If u watch when pistil show and rough about 21 days from there ull see a slow down period where the plant dont seem to do anything for a few days to a week thats the good time to defol same at around 42 days area it will stall to do a root buildup again to suplort more weight she puts on so while its building roots u can do the defol and ipen her up. I had my first ever hydro bubblegum auto that a guy who does all auto on another forum got ne on the ball of defols and lollipop the plant. Lollipop would come right around the 4 or 5 week mark i believe it was and it gave me coca cola can sized buds. Now i had cheap ass blurples then so the buds were a bit airy and lighter but they were the best smoke ive grown so far in auto form. Dont be scared if u have a few going play around with 1 and get a feel for it so next grow u will know ok this seened to slow it down or this made a big difference in the way she grew ect. Im gonna experiment on top feeding now veg and flower. Using down to earth 444 and 484 in flower with fulvic and epsom and molasses. @greensnek is gonna be a good guy and help a brotha learn the top feed routine and see what we get. I am extremely confused on medium. I am planning to use a mix of 40% Organic soil, 40% coco coir, 10% Perlite and 10% Vermiculite. Do I need to amend that with cal mag from day one? Is this okay to plant seedlings in?

I’ve been attempting to keep up on these girls. I have been doing more and more defoliation as I can. Also made it to a place that I just can’t get to everything so somewhat just letting things go. Been dealing with what we have to come to believe is a small PH issue so trying to get that straightened out. So much thanks to some people on here foe the constant help.

@kayl, I believe that you are fine to plant seedlings, and please someone correct if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe that you’ll need cal-mag because you’re also using soil which will have nutrients already there. Cocoa has zero so with 100% cocoa you’re responsible for every Nutrient that goes in.

I’ve trimmed & cloned my autos. I treat them the same as any other plant I’ve had.

Really, cloned? I was just saying a couple of hours ago that everytime I get on here I learn something. I thought that because of they way they are designed for lack of better wording that you couldn’t clone an auto. I don’t do any cloning, yet, but this is great information!

@Dunbar yep you can😁 I have done Blue Dream & Sour D. My clone did better than the orig plant. I was very pleased with the outcome.
Also I pull the branches out away from each other also. Big buds all the way through!! Increase of yield was amazing!!

I will keep that in mind for sure. I’m happy with the current grow, but really wish I’d have gone with 4 instead of 6, but that’s how we learn.
