@HawkMan look at the concentrations and application rates. DYNOMYCO is far more concentrated and lower in application rates  :firecracker:

thanks ! using it on this go-a-round

@HawkMan, you’ll never go without it again! Ask the growers here who have been using it

Ok; I know this is going to be unpopular, but I tried it for the first time when I started this grow 3 weeks ago. Now I know that the seeds of 10th Planet that I got were pure junk, very pale only two of 10 came up at all and then they were sick and yellow. I pulled them and trashed them. Then I started over with O.K.C. R1 Both of these strains are Ethos. All of the O.K.C. R1 (Orange Kush Cake) came up just fine. Not as hardy as I would like, but all are alive and well.

When I transplanted two days ago at 4 sets of leaves, I expected to see the small 6 oz cups a mass of roots, they were not, they had less roots than any grow I have ever had. And when I transplanted they displayed more shock symptoms than I have ever experienced as well. The first true leaves are also displaying necrosis. I wish I had taken a picture of the roots, I didn’t. But they certainly did not have good roots using your product. My prior grows I used a combination of Mycos and Recharge, the root mass was fully twice as big as using the DYNOMYCO. I used the prescribed amount. I just checked the pouch and the expiration date is good 08/11/2022. I also put it into the bottom of the hole and stuck some onto the sides of the hole when I transplanted.

Maybe they got overheated in transit and the inoculants got damaged? I had high hopes for your product, just didn’t see good results with it. Since I received the product it has been kept in my basement in a closed storage locker at a constant temperature.

Sorry to have to report this, but it is my experience.

Hey Marty,
Thanks for filling me in on the details. Sorry to read about your experience so far. Did you run any of these OKC seeds without DYNOMYCO in the mix? As you can tell from this thread, you are the first grower here who hasn’t had satisfactory results with DYNOMYCO. Looking forward to learning more from you and to understand why this has happened.

just got “bad” seeds for Ethos (OKC) have heard not so good thing about this strain - generally Ethos has great strains and germination rates checkout Orange Velvet Underground - high yields , ect was going to get OKC but choose Strawberry OG and PineberryOG

@HawkMan, DYNOMYCO is a miracle worker most times. But if the genetics are poor to begin with, there’s only so much it can do…

HOW TRUE _ Genetics are the base !!! for everything anything else is enhanced by the additivites one use’s Have know some “Mad scientist” that mix. mix and mix - was one myself - now simple and easy. look at chemical nutrients as “steroids” to be used if you are growing organic

Ari;

Yes I did, the last two i put in that are a week and a half behind the other 4. I just transplanted them yesterday, they were much smaller than the first 4 I planted. These are only at 2 sets of leaves. I used Recharge and Mycos on them like I have always done in the past. The roots mass was as big as the others that were twice the size at time of transplant. So I have to assume that the DYNOMYCO is for some reason not viable. This morning (just now as I am typing this) the ones transplanted yesterday evening are standing up and thriving with virtually no transplant shock either. See picture below.

The first four transplanted that had been planted using the DYNOMYCO displayed a lot of transplant shock, for a couple of days, (leaves drouping down). They recovered just fine. as you can see on my (New tent, office moved to other end of the coal room) Grow journal.

I take no pleasure in reporting bad results, I had high hopes for it because of all the positive results I had read before I purchased it. Why it didn’t work I have no idea, other than as I postulated in my first review that it somehow got damaged before it got to me.

Thanks for your response Ari, it is much appreciated.

EDIT: I always transplant about a half hour before the dark cycle to allow moisture intake and acclimation to the new soil before the stress of full lights on. I use a different soil composition for starting seeds than the final growing container.

Picture of transplant at 11/07/2021 at 9.32 am Transplanted at 8pm 1/2 hour before lights out.

I planted 6 O.K.C. R1’s and they all came up, not as hardy as other strains that I have planted but not bad either. I planted 10 10th Planets and they all were bad, only two of 10 came up and those two were sick and yellow, and the others never got past a small tap root then nothing. Both are Ethos strains. I also noted in my grow journal that both sets of seeds were pale in color. I purchased three strains at the same time, all Ethos. Planet of the Grapes, the OKC and the 10th Planet. I had germination problems with both the Planet of the Grapes, and the 10th Planet. Chitown seeds sent me Planet of the Grapes that all came up. I remember he told me that they were “bulk seeds”. The ones I purchased from Weed Gardians Family Tree out of Colorado were all in the fancy packs with the glass vials and the little information cards inside.

On that I thought that Ethos had either picked the seeds too early to keep up with demand or it was caused by help that didn’t know what they were doing as all three strains came to me pale and inmature. Because I purchased them all on the same order.

Out of the three, the OKC is the only strain that had good germination rates 100%. They were all under 6 months old since time of purchase.

Hey Marty (@sssportsmfg),

Thanks for the info. Sounds like it wasn’t such a successful seed selection and I’m sorry to read that.
I don’t think viability is the issue here. At what temperature are you storing DYNOMYCO?
