Fabric grow pots

I use nothing but fabric pots. I tend to water too often.

I bought some 3 gallon fabric pots with zippers. Big mistake. Zippers were all broke by second grow. I love fabric pots.

@hellraiser I like those trays under your fabric pots! where did you get those?

I use fabric pots and I’d like to get some of those so they can breath out of the bottom as well as the sides.

I bet you are talking about the divot’s ? The deal that keeps the bag out of the water in the tray? You can get them a lot of places…but they are kinda pricey. Amazon has them as does growers house. Lots of places.

I got the pot elevators and heavy duty saucers at BGHydro

Yes they do but much more expensive on Amazon. Much cheaper at BGHydro.

Thanks man, I just ordered 1/2 a dozen of the 13" for my little grow from bghydro.

@hellraiser I couldn’t agree more, Amazon is too expensive on them, I went hunting them a few months back and saw those on Amazon but at almost $60 for 6 of them I passed. I was going to go hunting them elsewhere but it got lost in the shuffle.

I’ve got about 50 or so of the Common Culture brand fabric pots. They were pretty cost effective at the time and have held up really well. IIRC I got them through Growers house.

Ya they let water in and out pretty easily. Just use a tray underneath each one to catch the run off. But you can actually water from the bottom too. Just fill the tray underneath and let the soil and roots wick that moisture right up. Be careful tho your roots might start growing though the fabric pot.
