Good quality macro lens options for iPhone to use in Social Media?

I have been searching the market for the best and durable macro lens option for iPhone 7 to be able to take nice photos of the buds for our social media. Main reason for this is to be able to have good quality photos in more affordable way with out hiring photographer or buying a expensive lenses. I found iPhone macro lens options ranging from 40$ to 300$ and was wondering if anyone had an experience with one of these products and possibly guide us through the right direction. Thank You =)

I haven’t personally used any lens add-ons for phones, but I did buy my brother-in-law a set for Christmas a few years ago and he seems happy with it. It was on the cheaper end of the spectrum. My suspicion is that a $40 will get you an 80% improvement in your close up photos, and spending the additional $260 for the expensive ones will only add another 20% benefit. Do you have somewhere in person that you can try them out?

We haven’t been able to find a retail place for the lenses but they might have at the apple store but not sure if they would let us try it =)

Are there any camera stores near you? They’re probably more open to letting you try before you buy.

So we purchased a really cheep Macro Lens from China. Not happy at all. I get better photos if I use magnifying glass =) I purchased this just to see how cheep price tag works on lenses. I am going to be trying out a Zeiss lens made specifically for i-Phone to see how is the quality on expensive price points.

Sorry that the cheap option didn’t work out. Looks like the Zeiss ExoLens products are well reviewed on Amazon, so hopefully you’ll have a better experience with that.

I use Olloclip lenses on my iPhone.

A lot of photos on my Instagram were also taken with Olloclip lenses: instagram.com/CODOTUS
