D.C. is the latest district in the U.S. to open up reciprocity in its medical program to out of state card holders. If you hold a patient card issued by one of the following states, you can hit up that local DC dispensary: Vermont, California, New York, New Mexico, Arkansas, Alaska or Arizona (woot!). If you’re a patient from another state, worry not my friend, reciprocity is under review for 29 more states.
It’s a good step forward, but why didn’t lawmakers just legalize cannabis for adult use? Is that the next step for DC? What do you think, is this a good move?
