This run is Wedding cake by ILGM Fem

And Monkey Slapz Fem by @PreyBird1

Everything im using in this run is from Buildasoil

I started with some recycled 3.0 soil i used last grow. Im using 10 gallon fabric pots

I reamended my soil with some worm castings and Buildaflower and craft blend

I used a half gallon of worm castings and half gallon of Buildaflower to 9 gallons of 3.0 soil Making 10 gallons of soil for each plant

Then i added 1/4 cup of Buildasoil craft blend amendments and 1/8 of a cup of the Clackamas coots gnarly barley finely grounded up per plant

Then I spread some Buildasoil Buildaflower about a half inch deep across the top of the soil then I used the Buildasoil 12 seed cover crop blend and spread a little across the top of the Buildaflower and lightly mixed it into the soil. Then I used a Barley mulch straw layer across the top .then I added about 9 red wiggler worms to each pot.

Then i mixed into hose filterd water two separate one gallon chapin sprayers of Buildasoil WDG 3000 fungus knat control at 1/ tsp per gallon with some rootwise mycrobe complete at a 1/2tsp per gallon and some Quillaja 20 extract at a 1/8 tsp per gallon and mixed well . Then I slowly watered into the soil evenly.

I started my cover crop first one week before I planted my seeds on September 6th.

I planted the seeds on September 13th . I soaked 2 coco coins in some water with some rootwise mycrobe complete for 24 hours the night before. Then I squish the top of the coin and little so the seed doesn’t fall to deep lightly cover the top of the seed. And placed it in my humidity dome. I placed the dome in the tent with the cover crop set the timer for 20 hours on 4 hours off . Adjusted the light par to around 200 a little above for the first week. They both started showing first set of true leaves on September 17th, then I transplanted them into small 5”× 4”1/2 nursery plastic pots when the roots started growing through the coco coins. I watered them both once while in the dome with 5ml of water each.

Here are some pictures from today before lights out. 25 days from Seed. Going to add a little more straw mulch on top and water them today.

Looking tops, short, green and stout. Did you mulch with the cover crop in the fabric pots and then remove the mulch?

The Mulch layer is under some of the soil from the hole for the transplant. Plus added some Buildaflower and craft blend on top

I also have to turn my lights up. I left them at around 350 PAR for the first couple of days after transplant. Also i buried them up to the first set of leaves. I don’t have a lot of hight in this tent and I have to try and keep them short.

Here are some pictures from today before lights out. Also turns out that my Monkey Slapz didn’t have a top. It self split at the third node, and would explain better why the one on the right is so short. I think I will start to super crop the wedding cake a little so hopefully the Monkey slapz will catch up a little bit. I will better update my journal on the weekend with what I have done to this point. Here are a couple of pictures of where the Monkey Slapz split from

Here is what I have done at transplant to this point. I transplanted them both into 10 gallon fabric pots at transplant I added a half cup of Buildasoil craft blend amendments around the top making sure not to touch the stem then i added about a half inch layer of their Buildaflower across the top of the soil evenly spread. Then I watered both of them in with some rootwise mycrobe complete and Quillaja 20 at a 1/2 ts each per gallon. Watered both with around 1/2 gallon each probably less in fear of over watering them at transplant.

Im now watering them every 2 to 3 days with some rootwise mycrobe complete at 1/2 tsp per gallon and some Quillaja 20 at 1/2 tsp a gallon.

And once a week with their BuidaVeg at 1 tsp per gallon. I have to check where my PAR is at I have not had a chance since turning on my IONBEAM S16 full spectrum grow lights on the side. Wich I only have set to # 4 at the moment.

I also just defoliated the lower branches on the wedding cake and plucked the large fan leaves on both. My Monkey Slapz is going to be a dwarf plant . Trying to train her out a little . Before I flip to flower. It is what it is. Im going to water again today with just some rootwise mycrobe complete and some Quillaja 20 extract at 1/2 tsp per gallon. Im using the Ecowitt moisture meter sensors and I and trying to keep my moisture between 50% high and 30% low . Here are some pictures from then until now.

I love that BAS 3.0 it really grows some healthy plants…but using the Autopot 4 gal system it doesn’t last long enough if you grow big plants. 3-4 ft before you flower. I had to amend even before I went into flower, but I used the organic stuff, worked out fine.
