Grow cabinet/tent pros please help w/ info for DWC system

I grabbed my note book from hell… hmmmmm…
Yumboldt week 8 : PH 6.0, Temp 69.4, TDS 625 (and this feels high to me but I am still new at this. Slowly getting a feel for it.). Flush starts tomorrow.

So what’s my best option at this point? What are some of the negative effect these high numbers will have on the harvest besides diminished production. Should I flush it with regular water for a while?

Maybe we should give the community a few hours to chew on it? Over correcting is so easy to do. Hang in there Brotha!

Hey @donv
No matter how this grow turns out (its gonna be fine) please stick around for your next one. There’s a scary number of brilliant growers on this forum that know exactly what they are doing and can help you get to where you are going. Pretty sure some of them have chlorophyll for blood.

Foxtailing is to much heat , from my experience. Dwc , you need to keep your feed cooled down to around 65 but guess you knew that. They make chillers or keep frozen water bottles in it. There’s a few ways to deal with temp of reservoir

Cruising by, I see there’s still unanswered questions. Your reservoir level should be from 1/2”-1 1/2” below the net pots it can be even more if you have a big enough air pump and enough stones running. if you’re doing DWC, you don’t need to top water, especially in those small baskets. I wouldn’t just stop, but I would probably drop to twice a day for a few days and then drop to once a day for a few days and then just stop. There’s no advantage that I know of.
In DWC there isn’t flushing there’s just changing the solution. if your plants are just getting burnt tips and not getting completely fried, just make a 75% strength solution. Then when you check your numbers if you’re still too high, just add straight water to lower them. Set your pH around 6.0. are you running Hydro guard or something similar? If not, that could be a big problem. Anyways, I hope this helps. :v:t3:
