so I am working

surfing the web and looking at seed deals and there are lots

I have no room, too many plants/seedlings and cutting clones is a no no

but beans you can save and grow anytime and they keep for almost

ever

picked up my mail and someone sent me 60 regular seeds of

Wilson! Zero

(Banana OG x Papaya #3) aka CASTAWAY x Tropicanna Cookies F1

sound like something I should grow

this spring I need to build a 8 x 16 foot addition to my room or move to

a legal state and buy a warehouse

so many seeds so little time

grow well and be safe

back to an update the light are moving forward these photos are from between

12/06 and 12/17

I built 2 of these light they are 220 watts and can be dimmed to almost

nothing

I used 14 - 2 foot strips for each 2 foot by foot frame with 7 rails 2 strips each

I bought the 28 strips I used a couple of years ago

could have done it with 4 foot strips and saved some work

16 plants i will put into flower this weekend

seedlings 10 Centripetal Force

8 Pure Michigan F1 x Gold Ca$h Gold

they are under the lights in that photo which I am replacing

under the new lights I am running the lights dimmed to 137 watts which

is about the same watts they were under

I have two - 2 foot by 4 foot shelves that I an covering with these light

one shelf is 2 foot from the light one is 3 foot from the light

5 plants in the back row are going to be stock plants to cut clone

the 6 in the front are some unlabeled MAC clones to flower sometime

more lights to come

12/21/2022 be outside before you know it

I have a purple diesel cross that I have 5 plants and would love to have one

I have ran them dry, feed them flower nutes and root bound

show a sex no way

so I have moved them up some what

if I can only grow six plants outside in 2023 and not have the Police take them

they will need to be Redwoods

so if I was to start working at getting a say 7 gallon plant rootbound to drop in the grow the first

of May or so

it should be huge ?

I am going to drop 15 Autos in the grow but we should not talk about those

Your light build is sweet!! I love to build light’s. Wish i was smart enough to make my own light controllers ha!
I got more light parts to make more lights lol it as addicting as growing lol.

this is my first grow box, it 4 foot by 8 foot and is 8 foot tall it has

three 400 watt High Bay warehouse lights in it

I thought the same thing I bought my 2 foot strips this time in 2020 and a couple of drivers

from some advice from a LED “Guru” on another site and found out that he did not know

shit from shinola

so I put them on the shelf as it appeared as if to build LED lights you need to be part of some

secret groups or something

so flipped on the MH/HPS lights and moved on, after a bit I bought some LED 4 foot

shoplight replacements

which for me was a proof of concept and showed I could grow weed with them

so I started looking and read join LED light forums to talk with LED light engineers

as I really could careless about growing plants

I wanted understand how to build a light and what the differences between type of drives

and LEDs there are lots

I found a German LED Lighting Forum and asked question someone broke it down for me

the light driver is a ballast supplying power to the strips if your strips are 24 volts you need

a 24 volt driver, run 48 volts you need a 48 volt driver

after that it about the watts your looking for you want 300 watts your need to produce enough

power at the voltage the LED wants

12/30/2022 the years is almost over and the days are getting longer

we will be back outside before we know it

now if i can keep my plant count to six plants I should be able to

make it to harvest with any help from LEO

I do have 30 autos to put out but they finish so early no need to count them

I did just put 16 plants in the dark to flower, the lights went off at six AM

and will come back on at 6 PM Saturday

I have always giving my plants 36 hours of darkness at the start to deplete

the red enzyme that keeps them out of flower

I will do 12/12 to start but cut them back to 10/14 in a week or so

I will take some photos of the lights i have up

I am still trying to dial them in as to how far they can be from the canopy

still a learning curve for me with the LEDs

I just harvested indoor GDP (grandaddy purple)

Looking pretty. Beautiful bright orange pistols, purple color all over & strong aroma. Letting the buds dry a bit before I jar them up. Can’t wait to try it for the first time.

grew GDP years ago when it first was around for me it was a Mite magnet

inside so once was enough

because I have no Adult supervision in my life and can pay anyone, anywhere for anything

and access to the internet

it does lead me to poor choices from time to time

what does not kill us makes us stronger

I am so out of room but I did want to try these folks service to see how it goes

and I will need them in the future or people like them

I know next to nothing about them, but I did post with the owner on another board

and he was pleasant to post with

so I bought some clones that will be shipped on Tuesday overnight

so the daylight appears to be a little longer

time to look at seeds to grow outside this 2023 season

I really want to do 50 or 60 Autos outside and grow them like a hedge

whack them down here in July

01/01/2023 WooHoo!!! the First Day of the 2023 grow season

we will here in New York need to work inside a bit longer

if G_d willing we will be outside in about 120 days

I have gone thru and put all my beans away and I have kept out just

the sixty autos I will be starting in April

I will keep 48 so I can do 6 rows of 8 plants for the hedge project

and find 6 new growers local to give each 2 plants one of each

so I will start 30 of these

I know little about them other than they will under 3 bucks a seed for

feminized auto

I just have to pick out six plants for what the state lets me grow I have a couple

of my crosses in 3 gallon pot that are females

I have a Island Sweet Skunk female by a Holy Goddess Male and also

a DJ Short Blueberry female by a chocolate Thai male

I may need to cut the roots back and put them back in three gallons for a bit

and go to five gallons pots

to end up in root bound 7 gallon pots to move to the ground

if I can only do 6 plants they will need to be redwoods and big roots is what it takes to

grow big plants

or my wife could stop smoking

I will have to look I have about five different MAC crosses to round out the six

I may have to do some guerrilla growing I do have a big swamp behind my place

maybe get out the Magellan

there is a farmer that is legal here I wanted to rent an acre split the crop

that never worked out

oh well but grow we shall
