Growing outside 2025 in the NorthEast

I have been on the lakes in western New York and Ohio but had not been on them in the winter

one winter I worked at Inland Steel on the lake

my G_d cold is not the word and wild weather changes

I remember driving down Lake Shore Drive and seeing waves frozen

but like so many people who talk about how easy it is to grow The Weed

her one problem is theirs also

not growing

her and one of her friend were going to grow outside two years ago

at the friends house

I gave them 6 clones well rooted in 3 gallon pots on May 1st in the end they

harvested 12 ounces dry

I asked her what they did to the plants as they should have done at the

least a half pound a plant

so she tells me it is because the pots I gave them the plants in were too

small

I said your were going to grow in the ground what happen?

she tells me that here friend was afraid and want to be able to move them just in case

which makes sense

so in my stupidity I ask “why didn’t you put them in a bigger pots?”

she tells me “they would be to hard to move”

go figure
