This here is a nice specific post that helps newbies like me. It’s a recipe with specific amounts. I used the search box to look up the Ed Rosenthol mix after you mentioned it in my grow journal. After my first grow, I’m going to make my own mix and this recipe is really great and helpful.

A lot of info I read here is vague and hard to decide on what to do or whether to ask for more details without bothering anybody. I read and read and read and take notes. I see info on what people do/use but usually not how to use it. It’s the “how to” that newbies like me are dying to hear.

Y’all are so skilled at what you do and have SO MUCH experience but us newbies don’t know the very basics that y’all know in your sleep. We just want to be half as good as you and then go on to pay it forward when we are successful.

Hi @anon11583201! Happy belated Mother’s Day. Love that your kids know what you like and get you cool things. My kids came and took me to a local grow shop where we shopped for some good soil for my grow, along with a few traditional gifts (flowers, massage, lotion LOL) …

I got a huge gob of mud straight in the eye from the ceiling today, had to literally scoop it outta my eye socket.
