@cratix @MrBlue air layering is a technique used to start root growth on existing branches prior to taking cuttings. That way your clone is already rooted before it’s even cut from the mother.

Air layering has been around a very long time…really neat and pretty simple process…
Works particularly well in harder wood trees ( any citrus, roses, avacados ) but would work fine in cannabis. I just personally feel selecting and rooting clones is a lot faster and less clumsy than air layering…it is a neat process and worth checking out, would encourage anyone to check out various utubes!
