RSO works good with pretty much any kind of oil you want to use. Depending on what you’re cooking. But the cost and time to make RSO certainly adds to what you’re doing. I can make Infused cocoa butter in two hours RSO is an all day project. At least for me. Now if I could figure out how to use Rozen from the press in my oil, that doesn’t take much time and doesn’t cost almost nothing. I have to make it a few more times but I do believe that you’re probably going to get less flavor from RSO in your oil. One thing a lot of people don’t do or know, is when you your RSO or oil if you set it out in the sun for 30 minutes or so all the green chlorophyll in your product will darken and the flavor will be less potent.

Well you can make gummy‘s and use Kool-Aid instead of water and it will mask almost all the taste. You just need to eat three or so of them to equal one chocolate.

@happilyretired I use Kool-aid or Citric Acid to make mine sour. Not a sweet fan.
Also I add Sunflower lecithin, not soy, so the RSO binds and mixes with the gelatin.

How do you make your RSO?

Decard weed
Soak in everclear, twice
Cook down in a rice cooker
Suck up with syringe
I do about 7 ounces at a time. Then I keep it in the fridge and warm it when I go to use it.

Do you have to cook it, or can you leave it out, and let the alcohol evaporate?

I cook it in the rice cooker, until all the alcohol evaporates. I do it outside in the garage with doors open
