I’m just in the beginning stages of researching how to grow 1-2 plants as needed to supply me and my family. I use for migraines and my family is mostly recreational. I’ve been reading and reading but I’m struggling to visualize what an actual grow tent/box looks like all together. I have a small house but it’s cold here so I’d be growing indoors. My husband is totally on board but I’d like to be discreet from some visitors to my home. Is this possible? Give me all your tips. I’ve been reading the Bible for growing marijuana. Thanks everyone!

My first grow tent is in my room. It’s a 4ft by 4ft by 6ft tent and fits beautifully at the end of my bad. I have a carbon scrubber for the smell, but the cheaper duct fan is pretty loud. The more expensive ones are super quiet and discreet. I’ve had all sorts of friends and family over and no one knew.

I think I’m also struggling because there are ssoooo many recommendations on how to set up a simple soil plant. Like some say you have to have ductwork that allows inside air to go outside the room but that seems impossible for me.
The tent in my room doesn’t, but I leave my door open. The air movement in my house is enough to circulate the air out. When I leave the door closed, it gets stuffy though. My second tent is fed up through the ceiling and I will say that it is worth it to do, but obviously, you can getaway with out.
It’s all up to you to set up your first grow. I can tell you what I did, but I recommend just jumping around here, youtube, books and such to come up with ideas. You are the person that knows your limitations the best.
