How to graft cannabis and grow multiple strains on 1 plant

Growers,

This is fun when space is at a premium and you want to grow a number of cultivars

HOW TO GRAFT CANNABIS AND GROW MULTIPLE STRAINS ON 1 PLANT

There are some better examples in some introduction plant propagation text books.

This works very well in cannabis for maintaining vegetative stock.

Basic requirements

  1. Sharp knife. A single edge blade may be the best choice. A dedicated grafting blade is expensive and has a funny bevel making them hard to keep sharp.

  2. Grafting rubber bands. These are a very sticky rubber bands. Teflon plumbing tape also works. A friend claims mustash wax works also.

  3. Good way to keep plants from drying out.

Have fun.

I know when Im doing HST. Sometimes a branch breaks off. So i just tape it back on. I use the aluminum metal hvac tape. The branch usually bounces right back with zero stress. But the process must be right away. keep that tape handy.

Basic grafting kit $15 Amazon

Foggers from our best friends Netafim , I think one of the netafim sales reps is a member. if I can figure out who maybe they can put together a GN grafting propagation starter kit. @JoshNetafim what parts do we need for a simple Foggers for propagation? Valve plus simple timer or smart plug with transformer. And a pressure reducer if needed. Please.

Hydrofarm sells a really good heat mat if you are looking for one for straight vegetative propigation. I think the on I used was 1/2 degree difference side to side.

We have flowered multiple grafted strains on a single plant just to see what happens. It is fun to show people and ask them to guess the strain. Thanks for sharing the resources.
