I’ve heard of entire towns going for sale, but usually I assumed that some exorbitantly wealthy person would buy them just to show off. Never expected a business to make a venture with one. Although I’m sure city council laws will favor their business. 
Also, Nipton is included in one of my favorite games, so that’s exciting.
