Lessons straight from a true hash master!

I’m working with a true traveled hash master, trained and perfected by several different masters techniques. There’s a whole other level to this!!! Here’s some Christmas goodies he whipped up and sent to me

I can’t call it lesson # 1 but here’s my official first tip from my learnings.i was having trouble trying to freeze dry hash, well it’s quite simple really. You just need to use dry ice in a vacuum chamber to keep humidity/condensation out of the calculation and it’s as simple as replacing the dry ice as it evaporates and be patient till it evaporates the moisture from the hash material

I’m working on a idea to separate my live resin I extract with dryice.im not a fan of ice water extraction due to sad yeilds in comparison to the dry ice sift. So what I have come up with to take this to the next level and still keep my yeilds is to shake my fresh frozen material with dry ice straight into iced water so I can separate the trichomes and still keep yeilds up to a acceptable level. I smoke far too much hash to toss 3/4 of it out (make ice water hash)

Don’t really need to know much, freeze trim/buds for 24 hrs.do not compress , place up to 200g of material in a 160-220 micron hash bag put in 4-6 chunks of dry ice the size of a golf ball and let sitfor 15 mins to chill further.then shake over a clean flat surface like a glass table etc.watch as material falls ,when the color changes that’s the end of the first run, second run will be tan w a hint of light green.when material starts to turn green that’s the end of the second run still good smoke.the third run is best to winterize or blast or use for edibles etc… the pressing process is secondly important behind a great drying technique, best to dry trichomes in 12-24 hrs.asides from freeze drying I’m still awaiting my air dry tech lesson, frenchy says this guy has a killer tec he has developed. Just amazing to get one on one time w such a fella.im sending all of my cuts to him for a box full of treats!! I can’t wait

As for trichome separation it’s best to use a wood spoon to agitate ,use a figure 8 motion and remove all foam before draining super simple stuff @chrisj it’s lots more work but u may want to save the drill for the 3rd run my friend!:facepunch:

Thanks for all the info friend. I live in a small town. I’m going to try to find some dry ice. Definitely excited to see how much I can get out of my trim and lower nuggies. Hopefully the curing process will be quicker also. I want a freeze dryer so bad dude… I was doing research to see if a food dehydrator would work to help dry washed hash. Couldn’t find shit on that subject.

Do not dehydrate, u can just buy a 200$ vac pump kit and buy a 150$ vac chamber and freeze dry with dryice.sooooo much cheaper for the average grower.no sense in spending thousands of dollars, same end result or better I hear lol

Dang… $350 def beats the $1500 freezer dryer I was looking at… :joy:
