Not entirely sure what I’m aiming at and sharing this, but presently I’m working on a music challenge where I’m trying to sink my teeth into this piece from an artist called Burzum. The challenge is in trying to find the appreciation with the minimalist approach that he took in creating the album. After you can get past the initial audio assault, you start to realize that the composers of the timestamps of the instruments creates this rather hypnotic wave that isn’t of the BPM that any of the instruments are rocking. It’s quite literally a subconscious BPM. I don’t know how else to explain it. At any rate, it takes a great deal of dedication and patience to this idea in order to sit through Burzum, but I am learning that with these challenges I am finding a richer appreciation for other musicians and arts I haven’t had prior.

Something a little different, love this song and what you guys think? My neighbour is an old rock and roller punk from UK and he composed this cover and said use it as you wish, so I slapped it onto this video of my plot in South Africa. @dequilo @Skinnyhb
There is some interesting layering of sounds. I’m not particularly fond of electronic or EDM as it is called, with that said I still was very much able to enjoy this. It’s a continuous progression buildup song, I love those.
Post script: the below song is the closest thing to EDM I listen to
When I see red, or if you don’t know what that means, when I am genuinely angry, this is what’s playing in my head:
What’s the name of the track, or the artist?
I found it. Wasn’t expecting a beat progression at 3:12. I wonder how it would have sound if it was recorded in d.
