I’m thinking of putting live worms in my soil this season; I feed with nutrients and was wondering if the nutrients will harm the worms?
Thanks and looking forward to some advise.
If you are going to add worms, then you also need to add some food for them. I use worms a lot in outdoor grows (food stuff), but inside you will be creating an environment for all sorts of bugs.
They will eat some of the nutes, but not enough to survive on.
Could you recommend something they like,
Interesting, may just do that.
Thanks, I’ll contact him
I should have mentioned I grow outdoor in 10 gal fabric pots: roughly 35% cocca cure with the soil along with vermiculate, perlite and worm casing if that make a difference.
I would think it would be alot easier on an outside grow it seems easier then to keep a mini environment for the worms in a tent
That does make a difference.
I know worms are cheap, if I wanted to experiment, but I don’t want to kill the little buggers with plant food. Total waste.
Red Bud his a great article on line about living soils using worms check it out. Never use nutis when using worms
