Lol i like his setup also. I want to learn also. I hadnt grown since 1998. I Planted 3 seeds still smoking that weed. And found Growershouse.com shopping for tents. I have always been a soil only guy also. But i am using the canna coco and Wow! The growth is so fast compared to soil. I was using HPS for flower. Got into a thread here about led quantum boards and i switched and again Wow! Then i got into aeroponic cloning and again Wow! I built a DWC hydroponic setup and havent used it yet. A few things im nervous about but im trying to learn day by day. I read a lot here and just love it so much. Very very interesting!! Id like to hit a 1.5lbs every cycle at 2 months apart. But i need 1 more tent for vegging i think. I should be able to make more but that would make me very happy.

I’m sure we could arrange that. 6 seeds and only 1 male… I think that’s the worst average I’ve ever had!
Unfortunately I’m going to just have to chop this big guy, but I do have him in clone form to make use of later. I could make a couple months away work, @hoppiefrog

There is a lot of newish things to make it faster. For me it’s never been about how fast. Growing had been about patience. They are my friends. We talk, laugh, love. But then one day I snap and kill them all

Your going to like dwc and be impressed with what your plants can do. I wouldn’t say I’m ocd, but I’m very neat and detailed oriented and precise about everything I do. Keep good records of everything you do every day and you’ll do just find. I’m very precise about every ml of nutes’s I add and monitoring and recording my ph and ppms/ec every day. You seem experienced enough to spot any deficiencies in your plants pretty early so I think you’ll be able to grow some real fat buds and be able to hit 1-1.2/lb mark. Can’t wait to see your 1st go with it so hope you do a journal for us!

I want to try a dwc set up. I’ve been intimidated a little by it. Again it comes down to me justifying that cost. And the old ain’t broke don’t fix it thing. Being set in my ways with soil. I’m used to nine month grows. Lol. Maybe one day. But I’m not going to hold my breath

Lol i do get attached to them. But i love rapid growth. I can be very impatient but really enjoy the vigorous growing plants!
My veggies the final harvest at the end of the year due to early frost

The world we live in man… It’s not like it used to be… It’s become a game not an industry… People can throw a name on it and not know anything about the genetics… However I do believe it’s up to us the new/newer generation to enlighten and teach and educate people first… Then the respect true breeders and the ones who started in the 70, 80, and 90s who fought for so long will finally get the respect they deserve… To the masses it’s just getting high… You can tell someone it’s the best but if it’s not your the asshole and there’s alot of assholes in this world lol

Yep i like the craft and the genetics are exciting. I had no idea how many really educated people are in the industry. Mind blowing thats why i cant stop reading and learning about this. @Farmer_Dan this guy here is very smart. I love to read what he has to say and many others. Some really good pros here i cannot respond to but and amazing place for sure so much experience and knowledge.
The industry is flooded with weird genetics. Im a herloom kind of grower. I respect the old vegetable and marijuana strains. I do like hybrids though. But i like the old school strains. Like thia stick, and skunk#1 and jack Herrera. And hash plant and others.
