Thinking about purchasing an ounce or 2 of Super Silver Haze or Lifter hemp (15+% CBD) to make some tincture from, as well as to smoke. They also offer C16 and C17. Won’t be ordering for a couple weeks, so any thoughts on this, lay em on me.

Made a lovely CBD tincture using my Source, 2 oz of Casino Cookies Hemp Trim (21% CBD in flower), 3 cups of 190 proof ethanol, and 2 drops of pure Durban Poison strain profile terps.
There was about ½ gram of CBD oil that I had set aside for a vape, but then decided to add it to the tincture. To do that, I gently heated up 1 tsp of mct and then thoroughly mixed it into the CBD oil until it was completely blended together. Then, I added it to the tincture.
I estimate about 2240mg of CBD are in this bottle:

Absolutely! Among many other wonderful strains.
I only grow autos, for the most part. In the spring, I’m hoping to grow a RQS Solomatic auto, which is something like 20:1 CBD:THC. Also, a Greenhouse Exodus Cheese CBD auto which is a 1:1 strain at about 8% each.
I’m really satisfied with the hemp & hemp trim I’ve purchased, as well.

I signed-up to review/test some products for @Transpring.Vapes. They arrived in the mail, today. Looking forward to loading them up with some For the People x2 Blue Dream CBD oil.
As I test the carts and batteries, I’ll post in much more detail, of course. Might start a seperate testing thread for this. I don’t know, yet.

Full spectrum is the way to go but some people are concerned about UA’s. I think the next one up from full is broad spectrum.

I skipped many doses of CBD over several days, and guess what. PMDD reared its head. I was blaming yesterday on not taking the CBD, but it was not taking the CBD during such a critical…period…that did it.
I have put sticky notes all over the house: Take your CBD. Now that I never leave the house/deal with people, I sometimes don’t think to take it. I’m sure my wife is overjoyed by that. And I’m sure the forum folks are loving it, too.
So, I won’t stop taking it, again.

I have friends that have felt so good after a few months of consistent treatment that they reduced their doses. Then slowly felt worse and worse. Then took 3 months to get back to where they were before reducing doses. It’s certainly uncharted territory. Stay well.

I noticed on the Netflix show, Rotten, there is one episode dedicated to cannabis. In that episode some evidence is revealed that studies will suggest CBD is effective to treat anxiety in doses in the 600mg range. This will change the entire industry since it means dried flower would require patients to consume 300mg of THC in strains with 1:2 ratio of THC:CBD. Also, bottles of oil with 100mg of CBD would be ineffective unless six bottles were consumed. If this is truth about CBD, then there is significant resistance from big business against releasing information in the marketplace until CBD costs come down. Could be a while. Please spread the word.

It’s far cheaper to buy your own and mix into grape seed oil or any other carrier… I also have 3,6,9 omega acids for pet’s I add it to for them…

Can you achieve 600mg does? If so, can you list the product that you use?

30ml grape seed or anyother carrier oil… even hemp oil and .6g of CBD isolate or full spectrum CBD oil… heat to 60C and mix in CBD… it really is that simple…but you will need the whole 30ml mixture to get your 600mg… and CBD is really expensive… it’s $60 to 80/gram… and you need to spend close to a $1000 here in Canada to get the prices dropping… I get it $15/gram but I have to buy 1000 grams…lol…

Warm the mct and mix in your CBD. That’s about 2100mg of CBD, roughly estimated.
I bought 8oz of hemp trim online for $70. Made approximately 9 grams of CBD oil (qwet extracted, processed in The Source, then air dried).
