New Baby Update:
I got back from work this afternoon, to find 2 babies reaching for the sky.

But No Master Kush yet

Planted another White Fire OG and Blue Cheese tonight. Again with my green hydroponic light app in the dark. Damm I don’t have enough time for everything, everyday.

Update:
The Master Kush showed up today.

I’m also busy building a dripper system, fed from a container and controlled by a battery operated timer.

The Timer

The Dripper and piping

My first pressure test, had a leak at a fitting under my container above the timer. And then I stripped it. Will get spares in the morning.
Only when the system is leak free, will I add the drippers. Then I need to measure the amount of water going through the drippers during a cycle. The system is gravity fed.

Looks great! It’s going to be such a huge time saver once you get that up and running.

Quick update:

I got a new fitting to fix my leaking problem at my container. Got a filter with it, just to make extra sure no crap blocks my drippers. There is another filter above the timer (inline filter).
The system has been leak free from this afternoon. The container holds about 45 L (11.8 gallons) of water.
I will fit the drippers in the morning to test the delivery per hour.

I got the first 2 containers of my first powdered nutrients.

Also got a new Foliar Spray

And a New Broad Spectrum, Diverse Probiotic Micro Organisms. (Daggaboer = Cannabis Farmer)

Dripper System Update:
I fitted the drippers and ran the system. It was pissing water and not dripping.

Because of the fast flow, I went to the pet store and bought some airline taps.

Now I can control the flow much better. I didn’t know what to expect from the gravity fed system. But the pressure is fine for the drippers. I only connected 6 dripper with taps for now.

4 of 5 new seedling are standing up. Just waiting on 1 White Fire OG to break soil.

I added another pallet to expand my grow area under the net. Don’t want my pots to stand on the bricks.
The grow area is getting fuller by the day. And now the new borns is coming up. Space is needed.

Starting to look nice and full from the top.

I also added a rain meter. To measure how much we are getting here close to the plants.

I also gave all the plants a soil inoculation of the Daggaboer Probiotic Microbes and a good foliar feed with my new Umya Multi Foliar Spray.

Quick Update:
I have removed the timer from the system and replaced it with a normal open and close valve. The timer is not working for me.

I’ve added stakes to the one Charlotte’s Web to train it again, it’s getting to big and the flowering stretch hasn’t even started yet.

The other plants will also be trained again if and when it’s needed for height restrictions (personal grow area height restrictions).

4 out of 5 out. Still waiting on 1 White Fire OG

Hell yeahs, you’ve been busy. Girls and guy looking good.

And you’re still getting mushrooms! I mixed up some soil this weekend and these were growing in the peat moss bale!

Quick Update:
My dripper system had a airlock problem. So I cut the upwards pipe to the bucket about a foot shorter.

The 2nd White Fire OG seed didn’t sprout. So I did some Archaeology work on the soil. Found the embryo dead inside the husks.

Staked and trained one of the Blueberries.

I turned the drippers off for the day, to let the soil dry.
I didn’t have alot of runoff yesterday, but there was a airlock in the system. It’s going to be Hot again today.

This is how the pipe is hanging now, after I cut the foot of pipe out, to help with the airlock problem.

I also have picked up (yesterday) the last container of my New Powdered Nutrients.

Now I have the Micro (Pot Radox), Veg (Pot Grow) and Bloom (Pot Flora) nutrients.

Thanks @Tygrow78
Hard work pays off usually… how much that will be, will be determined at harvest. The dripper system is still giving me a headache. Won’t be using again for nute feedings. Just plain water, until I can add a circulation pump. I also need to change the closing valves. The valves I used is for airlines. So it’s difficult to adjust it right. Have to buy new closing valves to adjust the drip rate better.

Found Another Mushroom

I mixed up some amended soil, using my base soil and added some:
Zeolite
Worm Castings
Bio Char
Insect Frass
Kelp Meal
Added the mix, to top off my pots.

After the soil topping, I inoculated the soil with some Microbes, Multi Kelp, Fish Emulsion and Earthworm Tea.

I forgot to add the worm tea bottle for the foto.

Doc, looking good my man!

Sorry have not been around. My ladies are OK. My indoor soil mix didn’t work, so I kicked all the mothers to my outdoor garden beds and Im waiting for new raw materials to make my soil. I still have clone copies of all plants going indoors, so Im basically going to start over with the clones.

These are some outdoor shots:

Hey @aaa
That’s all good man. I understand that everyone has lifes and gets busy. Your plants looks happy outside.
What went wrong with your indoor soil?
I also had some problems at first (still have). But will correct it at the end of this grow. Waiting for all my soil to be available to correct everything all together. I just need to add some perlite. Luckily my pots also help with air around the sides of my pots.

Update:
Well my plants are doing well. They are a week into flower at the moment. Our light cycle changed the 2nd of Feb. We lost about 30 min in a day. 15 min in the morning and 15 min of less light in the afternoon.

Charlotte’s Web almost touching the shade netting.

My 4 New Babies

The Black Sugar Rose had a bad weekend with a green worm looked like a Cabbage Looper eating at it’s leafs.
I say “Looked” because I killed it as soon as I found it. The sprayed my garden with Neem oil and checked all the other plants too. We went on a family weekend. Only came back this afternoon. So I wasn’t around to look after my babies.

Luckily the fucker didn’t get far with the leafs. Only a couple of small holes.

Dear @docdre,

I would like to know what is the wisdom for covering the outdoor plants by that, I don’t know what is that actually called, green shelter or sheet please?

HI @Hemp_Nature

My pots are my version of the black airpots…

I just drilled big holes on the side of my pots to copy the many small holes, but not the cone shape.
Am I understanding your question correctly?

I have a 60% shade netting (green) over my plants to protect them from falling objects like hailstones and it softens the rain droplets when it rains. Also protects the plants with abit of shade for when it gets to hot.
I also have a cover plastic (grey) that I can cover over the shade netting. It’s there to give the plants a darker area to rest in at night and to keep rain out at night. But it only covers maybe 60% of my area.
