Need help please!

Some kind of burn. Nutes or ph issues. I do that to my home plants from not letting out the salt enough i believe. My rh in my room at home is usually crap so the plants don’t sweat.

@codyjester,

Sorry to be late to the parade…been a little preoccupied lately…
This picture clearly illustrates your issue, and it’s not nute burn!!

Your problem is a fungus disease called Alternaria…do you see the brown ‘necrotic’ lesions…they are surrounded by a yellow halo…That is the hallmark giveaway of Alternaria infections.
They normally do begin on the lower leaves of the plant and if left untreated, randomly spread up the plant and continue to kill leaves.

The good news is you can stop it dead in it’s tracks with an application of hypochlorous acid. You may want to contact @nacho151, I believe he had the same issue earlier…he can help you out and if need be you can contact me via PM if you need more help.

Good Luck…Bob

Hey, you’ve seen it and treated it successfully, so don’t be afraid to jump in and help others!!!

I think Alternaria, once you recognize it, is pretty hard to misdiagnose…(LOL, unless you’re Slym3r and been hittin the bong!!)

Sorry Slym3r, I can’t help myself from givin you the jab once in awhile!!! :upside_down_face:

@codyjester read this thread and it will help a lot to kill Alternaria. Defoliate every leaf with spots and treat every other day over 3 days with hydrogen peroxide until you can get the hypochlorous acid, them fog your plants with the hypochlorous acid. It will kill the fungus really fast! I almost forgot, Welcome to the forum!

I have pulse monitors to make sure my temp and humidity is keeping my Vpd in range. But with that being said veg is around 75-77°f and 60-62 RH. Yes I do drain to waste.

@nacho151 for the treatment with hydrogen peroxide at what rate should I dilute.

Hi @codyjester
Tbsp of 3% hydrogen peroxide per eight oz (cup) of ro water is good.

I used 3% full solution, 1 tbsp , 8 oz of r/o or distilled water! Make sure to spray the whole plant right before lights out, so it won’t damage the plant, spray under the leaves and the main stem also.

That’s ok but a real wast imho… Half a cup of 3% in a gallon of water is already enough. If you use the 35% stuff, that is only 2 teaspoons.
Figure out how much longer you go Nach!

*Edit: sorry Nach I thought I first only saw: “I use 3% full solution” (Like, undiluted 3%) Now my comment doesn’t make sense  All good

I was reading the wrong notes when I was typing my reply. I edited it to fix it! I was reading my notes for Hypochlorous Acid, I don’t dilute that stuff! Lol!

How many per gallon is that? My brain just broke :joy: And it’s already mixed up with those gallons and cups and tbsps and whatnot.
Over here it’s metric. Grams and liters. Much easier. The last bit of “The Great Brittish Empire” the US still needs to shake of of her are its miles & gallons :speak_no_evil:

Here is the conversion to metric. 1 Tablespoon equals 14.78672 ml. I just use a syringe to add 15 ml to my spray bottle. With Hyprochlous Acid, I use 12 oz in my fogger and run it in each tent till the fogger is empty. @MrMonkey420 for a gallon of water I would use 8 tablespoons of 3% H02O2. I wouldn’t mix it until use either, because it will convert to H20 in a couple of hours.
