The clamp I plan to hang my side lights with. Instead of using a spacer I plan on using a 2 to 3 inch machine bolt and 3 nuts and washer to get the mount adjusted on the pole to keep it from rubbing on the tent.
Looks phenomenal my friend!!
@nacho151. I really appreciate your answer especially from experience i truly thank you. Rock on @nacho151 !!
We have the s16 ionbeams (ac infinity) too @nacho151 e like the build quality on the and they seem to have been doing us well (first grow so no control to compare). @HostileHippie420 We like them!
She really is looking fantastic @nacho151 .
And she really took up all that room in your tent. Im enjoying this grow very much.
Great job
And I think im loving your EVO6 . I have to get one
I’m really happy with this grow. This has been an easy grow so far for me. The new lights are a big improvement and I haven’t been having to constantly fight to control the heat like I had to in my other grows. Having the light drivers outside the tent has really reduce the heat in the tent. I really think I’m going to keep growing cannabis in hydro and not use soil anymore except for vegetables and flowers. I can say my grows have really improved since finding this forum and absorbing all the information people have provided.
I don’t blame you for giving up on soil @nacho151 .
What you’re doing now is really working great .
I want to try and grow my own vegetables. Everything is just way too expensive and I just don’t trust the chemicals that they spray all the food with.
Have u tried coco it’s basically hydro with a medium I so wanna get into hydro but waiting to find a house with a basement or garage or somewhere I have more room and not flood the house on my wife if something happens. Hydro is super good smoke and growth rate is great if dialed in good. I had rez temp issues and wasn’t buying a chiller for one rez and 1 plant so I went coco and I love it so far no dirt smells when I water it’s amazing the differences u get when switching mediums. Lol. Hell I wouldn’t mind figuring out aeropo ics and give that a whirl when I find a spot that supposed to be the best of the best like caviar weed. Lol
I’ve never tried coco. I only have used Fox Farm Ocean Forrest, because I was using grobuckets, and I don’t think coco would work in them. Plus from what I’ve seen from growers around the area I live, it has to be prepped and if you get a dry pocket it causes problems. I like to grow KISS style without all the trouble and work. With the hydrobucket I am using in this grow as long as the tent temperature is between 65 to 80 degrees the water temperature in the hydrobucket stays in the range needed. Plus any yard waste generated the trash companies won’t pick it up so you have to haul it to the dump yourself. Right now my work around for leaves, branches and stalks, is grinding it up and using a 16 gallon shop vac with a disposable vacuum bag to suck it up with a scented trash bag to disguise it and get rid of it.
If u can get canna coco blocks that’s all pre buffered and ready to go expand with nutrient of ur choice and go. Super great stuff and all I use. Here unless it went up it’s like just under 23 bucks for 40 or 50l pkg comes 2 blocks. I’ll get Amazon post of it
CANNA Coco Brick 40l Expandable Natural Plant Medium Soil Substrate, 40 Liter Expanded - 8 Liter Dry, Reusable (1)
Looks like it went up on here but I get 2. 7gal pots and a 5 gal pot per 40l u can reuse it multiple times by washing it off letting it dry and ream end with whatever u start with again. I do clean the pot let dry soak in jacks fill dose leave it be plant plant rewater again with jacks. Kinda have something in the coco before plant as coco is bare. I don’t add perlite because it seemed to dry way too fast for me so I go just the coco I get the whole day before I have to water sometimes 2 days. It’s really good stuff and seems to hold the pH u go with as long as shit stays right.
@Mark0427 I have a flora flex setup. 5 gal pots x 8 . With irrigation and drain trays. Drain to waste system. With 90% of everything I need to set it up. 2 giant bricks of buffered coco . I may want to ask you a few questions if you don’t mind , when I finally set it up … lol. It takes up a 4x8 area and I’m thinking I want to get another one of these spectrum x lights first I tried coco once and failed lol
My first go I failed too almost. Tried cocoloco and yuk. Said f it try one more try with what other use here again. Canna coco it is. Lol. My first grow was in ffof with good success. Coco was way better tho.
Beaut. I can’t wait to see some buttons in my room but I got a ways to go still. They r moving rho now. Lol. Starting to get a little exciting for me as I’m seeing more growth daily now.
I stopped using coco. I love pro mix but it is getting expensive now. I love the all water hydro no media grow. I’m trying to get away from media. But i have to have it for seed testing. Rockwool is a PIA But it works also. My buddy likes to use the 1" cubes and he does the feed and drains to waste on a table. Im going to buy a couple flood trays do some testing. Im going to start with a 2’x4’ tray and set up a pump and see what works for my set up the best.
