The dryer sheets are probably safer than drinking out of store bought bottled water.
The bottles themselves are toxic
the water you drink is toxic
the air you breathe is toxic
life in general is toxic

So you should really look at some tent kits. Not to buy it but to see all the equipment you need to use. The complete tent kits will show you the parts your gonna need as they contain all the componants.
Then modify them for your garage. Also remember bigger is better but also more expensive. I prefer to run 6" venting in all of my tents. That started because of an air cooled light i got was 6" venting ports on the light.
Remember you need to recreate the “SUN” in your garage do not go cheap on the “SUN” for your plants.
Make a wooden window and run your venting out there or go up to the roof and out.
