That would work Hap. You could also put one of those rain barrel floats that we use for RO water systems on the side with a tank with water higher than the water in the bucket. It would keep it full too. No doubt you would have to put a pump in the tank to keep the nutrients circulating.
Even the Autopots require a circulating pump to keep them from clogging up your valves. I ran the crop salts, and even they gave me problems until i put a little tiny 75 gph pump in the reservoir, just stuck it on the side with the little suction cups that came with it, it didn’t fall off the entire 3 months or so I had it in there running. They said run it 10 min every hour, but I just left mine on. Didn’t overheat the water either as it was a very small pump. Just took it out and cleaned up the pump it had quite a bit of gunk on it, so next time I will pull it every so often and clean the inlet holes in it.
100% it will. You hear it said all the time, eight weeks veg eight weeks flower for an average grow time. No one ever says anything about the month it takes to get it to grow to start with…
morning growmies… from sprout to start of flower is what I call seedling/veg and I only go 6 weeks to keep the size manageable and shorter harvest time…have a great grow day
I’m still going light on the nutes. Sunday I plan on flushing then starting full nutrients. The roots haven’t come out of the bottom of the net pot yet. The lights are pretty powerful. Right now I have the overhead EVO set at 2 and the sidelights set at 10 that’s probably why they look pale.
