Orange Crush Hydro Run

Has anyone tried the AC Infinity HYDRONE series, Plant Dehumidifiers?

Thanks for the info. Gonna be a bit before I hook it up. Too many irons in the fire at the moment. And I haven’t been having low humidity lately. I haven’t tried that dehumidifier. I have a room that I have tents in now. And I just set the dehumidifier up in the room, use it for a long room. :+1:t3:

I gotta tell you my problem with AC now is I cannot get there chat to work anymore, I asked them in email if they no longer had it and they said yes I needed to turn off all my blockers and accept all cookies. I did and it still doesn’t come up.

I can’t get it to show and I have three different browsers. I even installed one with zero add ins just so there wouldn’t be anyting installed that could block the chat window. And everyting I go to a new page on their site it pops up the accept cookies box over and over again.

… so if you set the dehumidifier up above the humidifier and had it drained into the humidifier, you wouldn’t hardly ever have to add water… but then the water would be :upside_down_face::nauseated_face::face_vomiting:

Yes and for all intents and purposes it would be dirty distilled water lol.

your doing just DWC natcho? Not RDWC.

It’s RDWC. Air pump pressure lifts the water up and into the ring and sends it to the plant in hydroton. The reservoir is the bucket itself.

So is this something you bought or designed?

I bought it. It’s called a hydro bucket. Works great.

Looking great and question is it easy to lift the lid to check on the roots if you need to? Or is the lid snapped on somehow and doesn’t open easily. I like to look at my root sometimes. But that little sucker is gonna grow quick. My RDWC system plants are alreay huge and hydro is just a little better quality plants and a little diffent in veg texture. They trim differently also and feel more Robust, and overall better plant. When i started growing again seriously. I got a small rdwc system and then grew in soil for 4yrs before i even used that system. And it sat and collected dust. I used it 2x but it was an inferior system my buddy made and sold me from his hydro store. Since then i have just designed and built my own. Im on my 6th Run using the system and im still trying to get it down. I have issue when i hit stretch where the plants over grow the tent in stretch.

@PreyBird1 It has a separate lid to check roots and water levels. No need to lift to check.

That looks pretty small. But i prefere to use the smaller pots anyways. Im really like the autopots 2.2 gallon pots. Because i can get more plants in there and have an assortment Going on. I have a couple of the next size pot up and they are to BIG for my taste. But i have a couple.

This is the basket I use with the recirculation ring.

The Atwater HydroPod - 8 Recirculating Drip Ring and Net Pot Lid

The bucket holds 3.5 gallons of water and nutrients.

It’s the Atwater HydroPod - 8" Recirculating Drip Ring and Net Pot Lid. The price has went up. You can get a Recirculating Drip Ring and Net Pot Lid and make your own.

Well I just did price checks and the Atwood HydroPod is about the same price as making one. I found the Atwood HydroPod on Amazon for $27.07 tax included.

You could put an auto fill on those if you wanted to. It wouldn’t be very hard. Auto pots makes a one valve system that has a box with a float valve in it. it wouldn’t be hard to set that up with a tank on the outside of the tent and just run lines in to your buckets. You would just need to sit the float on top of something at the height. You need your nutrients to stay.

Sorry. Just thinking in type. :face_with_spiral_eyes::joy:
