Oregon Sales Statistics April 2018

Summary – Sales in Oregon’s dispensaries reached $43 million in April, a 10 percent increase from the previous April. Compared to March, Adult-use and Medical sales combined increased less than one percent. Compared to the previous April, sales to adults 21 and over grew 24 percent, while sales to medical patients declined 10 percent.

The sales of flower/bud generated $18 million in revenue in April. A 30 percent increase in sales volume was offset by a greater decline in retail selling prices resulting in revenues from the category declining 12 percent from the previous April.

Concentrate sales in April increased 44 percent from the previous year, reaching $12 million. Nearly 70 percent of concentrate dollars in April were from vape products which grew 60 percent from the previous year. Live Resin and Wax remain much smaller categories, but both enjoyed year-over-year growth greater than 200 percent.

Sales of edibles reached $7 million in April, a 37 percent increase from the previous year. Beverages recorded the largest year-over-year increase in the edibles segment with 188 percent growth.
