Start indoor in January and see what you get for plants… I like the calendar it is fairly accurate… other than how to get monsters…lol…
Yes, The only way to go is to get a Head Start with an indoor grow then head outside. The weather here in New England can be tricky. Harvest between September 15th & November 15th depending on how your plants are looking and depending on the weather:+1:
this season in Southern Ontario the weather sucked… rain and nothing over 55F for the last 5 weeks… thus everything is down and the last 3 should be trimmed today…lol…

I believe outdoors the only way to go Build your soil up fertile ground raised beds the works,
The minute I build a green house I might as well go indoors…lol… and that’s what I did raised beds and i am 4 years into living soil with 3 completely living… only flaw was new beds but they get back to where my pots of living soil were in another year… also COVID had me s/d on worms this year… didn’t get until Sept…so now they are munching on the root balls and the left over straw I am composting over the winter for them…
Water the lawn when warm outside come out at 4-5 a.m. harvest your own worms. We used take tons fishing.
Or if you are lucky like I am I found 27 under a 4x4x6 that was laying on the ground next to my chicken coop. Man there are worms under anything that sit on this ground. I have now set out to collect as many as I can and throw them all in to my compost for next year that mixed with cat rabbit chicken cow and horse shit should be really nice and fertile.
Yes worm castings-poop is the best
I don’t use dew worms… I use the red wriggler composters… and at 4 in the morning my dogs have the yard already mined during the night…lol…
Put an avocado cut in half with the seed removed if there are worms they will be under the avocado in droves…
