Recent Science News - 4/24/17

On the climate change front, we’re facing higher CO2 levels than we’ve seen since we started recording data. This does not bode particularly well for anybody, particularly growers, considering that storms will become more frequent and weather will get weirder.

Does this milestone mean anything to you guys?


The Science march took place this weekend! Scientists around the US (and even elsewhere) marched in protest of recent behavior from the new administration as well as Congressional inaction. I’m sure some of you more scientifically-minded people have seen pictures from around the web, but there were some very clever signs.

A relatively new fungal pathogen is emerging and causing significant biodiversity damage. Keep an eye on this one.
