Root check

So do any of you guys inspect you root zone after harvest? Checking color, formation, expansion etc? Sometimes if you have a plant that goes wrong. It might be a good idea to dig around in there after and see what you come up with. You can go a little further and have the soil and root samples tested. It could provide invaluable info for next time. Just a thought

Absolutely, I always break into a few after a harvest to inspect root development… on a strange note, there is something about the earthy smell of a healthy root ball that I just really enjoy lol.

1 week into flower. This is a male I just had to chop. Rockwool chunks in a 1 gallon pot.

Root health is just as important as the leaf health!
