Scale input

Yet again I find myself getting tired of reading a million useless reviews on the web. I need some real input! I just harvested my first yield ever yesterday and I need a good scale roughly under $90 if that is possible. I am going to be using grove bags so I want to make sure I am filling them with the proper weight. P.S- Thank you, you rock!

Hi @ziggyco

I can recommend growershouse.com for all your needs. Below is a link to their range of scales.

I go by jars no need for a scale. But there are some good kitchen scales out there that work great.

@chrisj I ended up going to a local hydro store and picking up a pocket scale which has been very accurate I must say( WeighMax W - 7800 ). It weighs up to 106oz or 3000g at a time. I was looking for something accurate/sensitive enough to be able to pick up the airy buds from this low end yield. It comes with two hard plastic coverings one of which covers the weighing surface and the other the scale it’s self. I would recommend if you’re home growing small amounts. It was roughly 24.99 USD but in my opinion it is a lot better quality than other scales I’ve used. One of the Negatives right off the bat is it doesn’t come with calibration weights. Which wasn’t to much of a hassle, I think I ended up using something like 2 Arizona Ice Tea cans and some mini sanitizer bottles. A bit annoying but as long as the scale keeps it’s efficiency it’s not a big deal. I will keep this post updated incase I have to eat my words in the next 30 days (: I hope not! Have a swell 28th of November hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving during these times! Ps It takes AAA

I got a dirt cheap digital scale off Amazon…and tested it against a old school triple beam that is dead nuts accurate, and they both read the exact same. So seems like it would be pretty easy to find one. I think the one I got was only about $18. if I remember right. I was wrong just looked up my order it was only $14 it is a 500 gram scale, accurate to 0.01 which is 1/100th of a gram. AMIR is the brand.
