That sucks about the fans, better they have issues now whiles the plants are still babies, always solid to work out kinks early.
I can’t complain too much. The fans work, they just don’t communicate.
On another note…i added a heater (port 8) tonight after i saw my overnight temp last night drop to 62 degrees in the tent.
I will gladly let the AI control that
Very cool! I’m not a huge fan of all the AI stuff lol… if it breaks or goes crazy then what?? lol just my thought. Also my grow room is insulated and attached to my office (30x25ft) that I have with a sliding glass door so I keep a box fan on low blowing into it as a buffer and fresh air, with all the carbon filter I have in there only time you smell anything is if its in later flower and the tent is open.
If it breaks or goes out, i am more than comfortable adjusting it on the fly.
I am treating the AI thing as a “luxury”, not a necessity.
It is nice though….not gonna lie.
Looks like it, I baby my plants too much for something like that to be useful for me LOL. also I’m retired so I’m lucky to be able to babysit my plants… And IMHO it cost too much to grow where I live (SE Michigan) to grow in the summer so its a September - April event for me now that I don’t use my commercial building anymore. You have a very nice setup indeed! I consider myself and others like you luck to be able and afford to do it! I get so much joy from growing plants.
We do too. We love to grow. Doesnt matter. Indoor, outdoor, cannabis, vegetables. My wife and i have a ton of fun.
Very nice layout!
Thank you!
First feed in the books. 1/2 str flora trio nutes with calimagic. Each plant got 16oz of the gallon.
This is day 17 from sprout.
I topped the hubbabubbasmellascope 2 days ago will top appletizer probably tomorrow and the other two sometime this week……then it’s off to the races.
I am a bit worried about the size of the chemdoggin. It seems to be a bit slower than the rest, but i’m gonna let it ride.
New fans came in on Thursday. I installed them and it immediately fixed the communication problems. The AI controller is now picking them up fine.
So far so good!
Feed from the bottom as well so the roots seek the water!
Coming along.
They had their second feed 2 days ago. A light (like really tiny) yellowing on the very tip of the leaves, so nutes are right at the line.
Only concern i have is that they arent very thirsty, but i am also at a constant 1.0VPD due to the new AI controller (which is working pretty good), so it isnt evaporating either. Watering about 16-32oz every other (or every other other) day.
A bit smaller size wise than my last auto grow, but i think i still have about a week before flower starts probably, so not terrible.
Better pictures that i took last night. 34 days from popping out of the soil.
2 of them were topped, the other two weren’t. Wanted to see side by side the difference as i have never topped an auto before.
Been a couple weeks since i posted.
Having some minor issues with the appletizer. Seems it needs more nutes than the others. Trying to figure that out.
Other than that, they are all in different stages of flower. Not surprised though, because they all have differing harvest times giver or take 5-10 days.
Hubbabubbasmellascope starting to stack nicely. My grape walker kush is kind of runty, but is stretching nicely. Not going terrible so far. Probably about 45 more days or so.
And my favorite part is starting to happen….the tent is starting to get stinky😌
yes she is…morning growmie…
Another update.
I dont know wtf is going on with Appletizer. I have literally fed it almost every other day for the last week. It will not green up, but it is fading purple. I attribute the purple to natural fade as it is 60 days today for these four plants. The others look better, but it isnt dying so i am gonna let it ride.
All flowers are starting to stack. Trichome production on the double grape is silly.
Probably another 30ish days for all of them except the HBSS….i may chop that in 2 weeks depending on how the pistils and trichomes look. I feel like the HBSS flowered and stacked much quicker than the others.
Tent smells excellent, and everything is coming along.
Usually once the leaves go a little bit yellow they don’t come back. Look to your new growth. When I zoom in and look towards the center of the plant your leaves look plenty green with their little tips burnt. So it looks like you’re maxed out on nutrients at this point, your plant is not gonna grow anymore Big leaves. Once they’re damaged their damage. When this happens in veg, the plant is growing and making new large leaves. And as you defoliate, when the plant grows you remove The damage leaves for light penetration and your plant looks all green again. Not the case in flower, it’s now putting all its energy towards flowers and sugar leaves. It’s going to be just fine.
Looking beautiful man. Nice frost covered buds is always gr8 to see in the grow space. Lol.
