Show us your bud pics!

Harvested last night.

We got 8 tops off this Pipe Line technique. Here are 5 laying across the 19” bowl trimmer.

There sizes are pretty much equal.

Cleaned up n spread out.

Trimmed up and laid out on a 14” x 60” rack layered with screen.

Very nice buds. Solid, smelly, n sticky.

I know we hurry up and wait for them to get to harvest and then we have to wait for them to cure. It’s worth it in the end though

You can sample it, it just will be harsher because of the chlorophyll hasn’t been broken down.

That’s true @Hemp_Nature I’ve tasted mine before a nice cure and it is real harsh but doable

While the buds have been cut off, but still contain some moisture, just like a cut flower in a glass of water, it will continue to live for a little while.

Storing it with a little moisture, but in the dark, allows for no more new green chlorophyll to be produced. And the plant’s own cellular function, as well as some microbes will continue to break the chlorophyll down, as long as there is some moisture.

This is why people let the plant dry a little, but not all the way dry, and then put it in a airtight container, and then open the container top to let a little moisture out every now and then.

Things can’t get too moist or you’ll get mold and rot.

A cleaned coffee can or almost any container will work.

Mason Jars are what most people use, something like these:

When I was still buying my cannabis off the street, I used to store it a coffee thermos. Worked well.
