Yep i hate the wait. Thats why i have a cannatrol machine drys and cures. Mosty dry in 6 days! I want a bigger machine or another one because there pretty small when you have more than 2 plants. Forget hydroponics no way the buds will fit in the machine. I have to time it to where i have a week in between chopping plants for harvest. Then i can dry in 6days then do another crop. I still cut my plants and hang dry for 1-2 days before i toss them in the machine. I do not like how the machine has flat shelves. Because it makes flat spots on the buds and if you don’t go in and rotate the buds you get weird flat spots. They dont hurt anything being flat. But it is noticeable. Some guys used the holes in the shelves to stick the buds stems into and they could fit more flower inside the machine.

I bought a drying rack that hangs in the tent, but you’re right…it leaves flat spots. Wasnt a big deal, but it makes the final trim a bit more tricky

I think I am gonna make a 2 tier rack out of 3/4” pvc that i can put together for drying. Then hang.

I didnt like how the flower dried for trimming with the rack.

Edit: i would LOVE to get a cannatrol. I just cant justify the money to my wife. So old school it is for now.

Man that sucks. I make all the money here. I bought the house myself.

Same here. In my 51 years of breathing, there are two things i have learned.

  1. Pick and choose your battles.
  2. Happy wife, happy life.

Those two things have saved my ass more times than i can count. They have also allowed me to be able to get what i have currently for a setup.

Maybe cannatrol some day, but not anytime soon.

I have 6 of these trim trays. There badass. I also use them for removing seeds from buds and seed husks. I call it seed shucking and i have trays that are used for STS buds/flower so you dont go smoking any silverthoisulfate or silver nitrate sprayed flower. when im reversing the plants i use that spray and it poisonous stuff. Its nice to have 2 trim trays at the same time then you can lay all the flowers in one bin and the trimmed buds in the other bin. And you also need to buy the side garbage bag holder so as your trimming you can drop any trash plant parts into it and keep it out of the flower.
They call it phase flower sorting bag holder. But i use it for crap all the time trimming. Because i have a cannatrol machine and i make a bunch of ready trimmed flowers and then lay them on the trays so i dont use the bag holder for phase flower sorting. Just crappy leaves stem parts and stuff like that. Heres a pic of one.

You can attach 3 of these to one bin. Then sit there and drop the biggest buds in one bag. Then medium buds in another and finally small popcorn and larf in the into the 3rd bag. It can be really handy when your cutting a lot of plants down. And another thing is to use a big shop vacuum to suck up all the trimmings that get all over.
