The more you move the “bed”, the more you mess with the fungle network or ecology.
You want to have an existing compost for years, then make that into a living no till bed and add amendments to keep the life happy in the bed.
Oh for sure I just finished “living with microbes” plan on reading the other 2 books by jeff too. I think the media mix recipe I recieved is better for small container one time use than a living soil bed. 75%coco or sphagnum peat, 13%vermiculite(I did 6.5% each vermiculite/perlite), 12% rice hulls. Amended with wollastonite, hydrated lime and a wetting agent. If I used with coco I believe it to be moderately sustainable.
