I only use ro water, unless you have your water analyzed you don’t know whats in it, cannabis is a accumulation plant and will absorb whatever is bad in your water IE heavy metals.

Do you have a ro machine you use or do you just purchase it as ro water?

I have one (RO) hooked up to my water pipe in the basement. I hooked it up on the line that goes to my outside sill-cock for watering outside. I have it plumbed so that it fills a 35 gal food grade plastic barrel. It has a float installed and shuts off as soon as the barrel is full. I got a smaller unit as I only use it for watering the plants, it is a 50 gal per day system, I use maybe at the peak in summer both inside and out grows about 6-8 gal. It is WAY cheaper than buying distilled or filtered water from anywhere. The replacement cartridges are also very reasonable. Mine is a 4 filter with membrane. Sediment, DE, activated carbon, then the membrane. When my filters are fresh, my PPM is below 1.

I have a system by ispring, 75 gpd I added a second 5 gallon tank so I get double the capacity Its cheaper in the long term. But they sell countertop setups thats easy to use.
