T H C can it vary

Can the T H C content vary some within a plant, I figured it could. But if that’s the case how much can it vary, and what would you figure to be a average on how much it does , if it does??

This is a great topic @ward and I hope lots of people give their opinions. My opinion is yes THC can vary alot. Two people can start out with the exact same genetics and depending on their medium, light’s, nutrients, style of grow, stressing techniques, can end up with quite different flower at the end. Not to mention the time it was harvested, the way it was dried and cured, can also change the final end potency.
I hope this gives you a little something to think about my friend.

I was wondering if you meant vary in the same plant… I say yes to this also… bottom buds can be as strong as colas… but sometimes I find them inferior…just an observation…

Ok yes that’s what I was really talking about in the same plant

If you can get the bottom buds up for an even canopy than you can SCROG and they all should be the same quality or more consistent at least…but if you just let them stay under developed you will notice a difference…I did a 4x4’ outdoor SCROG a couple years ago… shit it yielded 2.5-3lbs and I lost 35-50% to mold…so would have been 5-6lbs on it…,

What’s it a SCROG?

Unlike SOG (Sea of Green) which is many plants with a single cola a SCROG (Screen of Green) is a single plant grown on a mesh grid with many many tops… thus many colas… both the same but both different… SOG can have many strains SCROG 1 or 2 at very most per grid…so all depends on your wants…

my last grow was a scrog. Only 1 plant. It involves weaving stems across the net to get an even canopy or tieing stems over or under the net.

yep… my grid was 2"x2" or 576 squares…lol…an outdoor SCROG is insane…lol… and @kdawg very nice indoor SCROG… I might have to do another outdoor next year…lol…

What about with regards to stated thc on websites regarding strains. Are those numbers beatable or extremely beatable generally or are they usually the upmost level?

It can be beatable depending on environment and genetics plays a big part I had some glue that was ok the. Grew some glue out from a different breeder and shit was of the chain! And I kept same environment temps humidity etc that’s why I write in books alot on grows Im trying to use this as a journal now it’s kind of confusing to journal on here but I’m figuring it out!

On seedfinder.com they have breeders tested THC levels but I honestly think you can test higher!
