I read these licenses may cost upwards of $100,000 ($10K up front, $100,000 recurring) per license. Any insight into this, @stevo47? The fee structure seems like a huge barrier to entry.

Steep to say the least! Officials say they need $560K/yr to train inspectors, purchase inspection technology, and develop and run the program.

Industry advocates say that there will be no shortage of applicants. Funny there is no mention of tax revenues from purchases. Also, there is discussion that dispensary sales will be low because the state legislature has tight controls on what conditions constitute a medical need.
